Payment & Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 17, 2026

1. Payment Methods

We accept a wide range of payment methods including UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express), net banking, and digital wallets. All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Your payment details are encrypted and never stored on our servers.

2. Booking Payment Process

For most bookings, a partial payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your slot, with the remaining balance due before or on the day of the activity. Full payment options are also available. You will receive a payment confirmation receipt via email and SMS once the transaction is successfully completed.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled trip start time are eligible for a full refund (minus a small processing fee). Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours before the trip are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip are non-refundable. Cancellation policies may vary for specific activities and are clearly stated at the time of booking.

4. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days from the date of cancellation approval. The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 2-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

5. No-Show & Late Arrival

If you fail to show up at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time without prior intimation, it will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable. If you are running late, please contact our support team immediately, and we will do our best to accommodate you or reschedule where possible.

6. Weather & Force Majeure

In the event of adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, or any force majeure event that makes the activity unsafe or impossible to conduct, Trip Gaido reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the trip. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe a charge has been made in error, please contact our support team before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and future booking privileges. We cooperate fully with payment partners to investigate disputed transactions.
